The world is plagued with strife and discord. Crime, disease, natural disasters, terrorist bombings, war. Its scary out there and things can look pretty bleak.
You see a small sign, maybe an ad in a newspaper, it almost escapes your notice but somehow catches your eye. It reads:
Pay: non-existant
Acclaim and recognition: probably not
Gratitude: possibly but don't expect it
Knowing you helped make the world a better place: priceless

Maybe, just maybe, there is some reason to hope after all....
I'm establishing the Knightly Order of Quixote. I envision this as being a grass roots collection of like-minded people that have similar goals and attitudes about helping make the world a better place. I'm not sure how I want to structure this organization just yet. If there are any individuals out there that would like to join me in my quest, or if you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact me.
One thing I could use some help with is the graphic design of this website. I'm a programmer by trade, not a designer, and the layout and color scheme of this site reflect that deficiency. If a graphic designer out there wants to perform some pro bono work, or maybe do it as an intern project, and help spruce up the site, please speak up.
